The Cancelled “8-Bit Upside Down Cake” Project

Another experiment I ended after losing interest.. I guess all of these “Free Cake” projects will be this way.. I take bullshit tracks that I’ve made while experimenting w/ new sounds and things, while trying to create the quality stuff, take the rejects, put them together, and create this (these).  So, if you’re looking for some spectacular shit or just some good, great, quality work.. you won’t find it in these.  They are all experiments and the rejects.. just thought I would share some of the directions I’m going musically, at the time.

Free Cake: Rejected Ideas (for download!!)

Soooo.. this is one of the first instrumental ideas that I thought about putting together and posting for download, but needless to say I lost interest in the project after the first track, and didn’t feel the need to continue.  I added the other two tracks that I consider to be failures, added a lil’ “filler” to it, and you now have this.. Free Cake: Pakistani Triple Stack Special.  Nowhere near my best work, but I was told to never keep my failures a secret as well.. you never know who will take interest in them.  Be easy on the comments, when letting me know whether or not you downloaded it and if you liked it or not.. the real instrumental project is coming soon.

The whole, “Free Cake (Free Instrumentals)” thing is also just an excuse for me to experiment w/ different things in my music.. take it for what it is.. an experiment.

I Could DEF Rock A Nintendo!!

SHOW ME THE MONEY!!  LOL!  Jerry Maguire style.. I’m sure I could get a job, with the old Nintendo. But, until I’m able to build a time machine.. I’ll just post shit like this and continue to share my creative boredom.

I had to change my number one spot. I remembered that Kanye could not have that spot at all, if he hadn’t dropped a fucking track in what seems to be the entire last year!!!  Damn you!  I don’t give a fuck HOW DOPE “Diamonds from Sierra Leone” was (not the version w/ Jay-Z).. I need some new music man.  None of these other people inspire me the way your music does.  I’m LOST!!!!  So, the Mighty Mos takes #1.  Dude has YET to provide slack for these half-ass rappers to grab on to.. just like Andre 3000.  But that cat is a different story.. Mr. M.I.A.
